At interpretation if this is Dross! (Dream x Cross)
So uh, in the lixeverse (My take on Underverse) Nightmare did miss his brother and (WAY TOO) deep down still cared about him, so when he knows Dream is teaming up with Cross and that stuff, brother instinct just turns on and he decides Cross can't have his bro.
Meanwhile, Dream never thought of Nightmare caring about him, just acepted Nightmare "forgot" all the time they spent together when they were both kids, and didn't knew Nightmare still cared, so he thought "Hey, he doesn't mind trying to kill me, why would he care about me dating someone?" but he was wrong, Nightmare cared too much, as much as he formerly did (Or as much as he would care in his passive form).
So, Nightmare eventually finds out, so he cordinates his team/servants against Dream's team (Blue/Swap and Ink), since he knew Cross would come with Dream, Blue and Ink, so then, Nightmare would basically turn into that version of himself he formerly was meanwhile is strangling Dream away from Cross.
btw, i dont ship dross or cream, i preffer Dream x his crown and Cross x taco >:3
and horror x dust aka host or dustaxe, that's why Horror calling Dust his babe, I LOVE GAYS COUPLES. And yes, i like Errink.
btw, the lil fella next to Blue is Scene.
