Keldon Comparison — Description

There are a lot of renders of the Keldon that in my opinion are done with too narrow of a backpack. It's completely understandable as it probably looks better. As I struggled to find the right distance, angle and tilting of the ship I just couldn't seem to find the exact shot that matches everything about the upper image from The Next Generation. It makes you search for errors in the mesh as well as the right camera position for the render. I found some mesh errors and corrected them. However, my "backpack" as wide as it is, still seems a tad narrow compared to the real model. Don't even get me started on my struggles with the bridge area. I did begin to notice that the original model had crooked elements. For instance the front deflector (red) is cockeyed on the original Galor model. Perhaps it is fruitless trying to match the shots.
