I had to create an old library feel for this shot. Lucky for me we have an old house that has the kind of Victorian/old wood style library with antique books in it. So I thought it would be nice to make that the setting for this. Kinds of places the character in the right place to make the photo work. Jay and I decided on the casting after he met with Kirja... she was perfect!
We have fairly large teams for these cosplay shoots. We decided that to make it believable we had to elevate the production to ad campaign levels... so most of our production team members are either from ad agencies or suppliers for ad agencies... We just love to make things hard for ourselves that's for sure.
