Description
A group of nameless characters from some 90s JRPG of an alternate time and space sharing some "wacky" magical adventure. I don't have names for any of these guys nor do I know anything about them. I just know the kid with the backpack and stick would be the playable protagonist and through his eyes we would see his crazy magical friends. I was exploring what I liked about JRPG covers from my youth.
This is a picture I did with just pencil back in the early 2000s and just wanted to get concepts out of my head. I decided to redo it in 2024 and color it. It was done with 2B drafting pencil, then inked with nib tip pens with Higgins Indian Ink and then colored with Gouache and Watercolor.
