Inking Process — Description
Thought I’d try my hand at inking in Photoshop (the way it should be done!) Although it’s not the first time I’ve attempted it, it is the first time I’ve treated it so seriously.

On previous occasions I had always given up, not so much through lack of patience, rather, a lack of control. My little Graphire3 just couldn’t handle the linework and would sadly let me down on this one thing. Now, however, I have Graphire’s younger sibling Intuos to play with and something that I have for a long time held to be such a daunting task, has now become surprisingly easier (you were right Kat, I was poor and deprived… Guh!) I’m finding that I now like the process of inking very much. Huzzah! Progress!

Btw, This is of course, one of the panels from the comic strip I uploaded recently which I thought would be a fine tester. Concerning ‘the’ comic (if I can manage to stay inspired and move my ass that is) I’m not sure as of yet if it would be coloured in this way or not. It might even work with a sketchy/parchment theme. Hmm… needs much thought.

So yeah, Sweeney in colour… red hair, pale face and eyes gleaming with cunning… sort of…

Sweeney: ‘Just lickin’ my eye… What! Mind your own damn business!’ Lol.
