Description
Yarrr! Do ye like pirates? Then check out these two ‘colourful’ scallywags! Hee hee…A wonderful colour rendering of ‘Ahoy There!’ by the talented Sean Pendleton (Could this be our first collaboration?).
Sean did a fantastic job of this and I absolutely love the way the background colouration and all the little tonal effects give the overall picture a sort of old fashioned, ‘piratey’ look. For some reason, it reminded me for a moment of some of Howard Pyle’s illustrations.
Btw, thanks Sean! Colour really has brought these two miscreants to life!

Thisis really, really, really cool. Like, so cool that I squee-d when I saw it. I love the cartoony style it's drawn in, and the coloring is wonderful!

Well, as long as it's appreciated by the few, I'm sure it's no big deal.

It's funny. Your shading has the power to make a colorist really lazy. Half the work was there already. In fact the only place I really had to make new shadows was on his hands. The rest was just accenting the ones that were already there. We should do this again sometime.

LOL, well it still looks to me like you added alot in there. Fun fun fun! Perhaps we will... I'm sure there will be more sketches like this in future.

You have a lot of talented admirers. I'll go give Sean's work a good look now, maybe let him know how I liked his talent myself.

You included of course! Mr. Bryan is a quick draw with the old graphite pencil...

Meh, that's still up for debate.

I dunno, I heard they already demanded a recount. It could be a close one...
Wait... what's this? It seems we have our answer, and it is...
*dramatic suspense*
Bryan's art for the WIN!!
