Inside a warehouse. — Description

What was supposed to be a simple interview, turned into a unlucky cover story.

Nightfall was fast approaching the excitement was growing in the young reporter as she messed with hair slightly, using a reflection of a window glass and the light of the moonlight to help since she had no mirror on hand, but in the refection she could see her black hair fine as usual, her emerald eyes almost shimmering in the reflection as well as her dark fur coat she smiled

“ok, ok, calm down don’t sweat it… just deep breaths and say hello”

The cat girl said to herself as she closed her eyes, and did as she told herself taking a few deep breaths. She then immediately looked at her wrist watch as it gently ticked away the time 8:30 p.m.

“okay she’ll be here any minute! Eheh, am glad she understood when I introduced myself over the phone my name is Midnight, rather than mistaking to meet up AT midnight”

The cat girl laughed sheepishly as she spoke aloud. For she was recalling what lead up to these events, a young girl wanting to be a reporter Midnight thought it to be best if she herself would go out and ask hard questions, meet with celebrities and so on. Though it was mostly to keep herself occupied with her curiosity more than anything. However what was really unexpected was herself being able to get an interview with an actual celebrity, she knew she wasn’t a famous reporter herself, let alone gets much attention when she asks via emails to celebrity websites, but not this time… This time it was real.

An up an coming J-pop star was on tour and was making a surprise appearance, Tarabel Oakleaf, the shy sweet singer, was here to perform in Midnight’s hometown. Several that were in the town knew her about her arrival, while many were shocked and eager for her performance at such a small town.

Secretly Midnight herself became a fan of Tarabel for some time, before she even was gaining ground as a idol, they knew each other for a little bit in earlier times for Tara was a transfer student a few years back. Tara, as Midnight called her, which became her main nickname, was so excited and nervous upon hearing the news that when she sent out an email to her, she was rather surprised, perhaps overjoyed that Tara herself responded back. It would be great to catch up if the time would allow it along with the press and media.

“ugh 8:35, where is she?!”

Midnight said with a huff of distain in her voice, as she tapped her heel impatiently, as she was dressed nicely in her casual light blue top with her green skirt, and heels, a simple but cute way to represent herself as a reporter. As she paced around nearby the pier as the email she got instructed her

“Great, too hear from you! I will try to meet at peir at 8:30 p.m. sorry if sounds silly not too good typing English!”

And midnight did just that, not only followed the email down to T as best she could, but even arrived early, but then she thought to herself

“well she is getting a bit more ground… pretty sure it’ll be hard for her to get around town without some form of media and press hounding her… okay a few more minutes…”

With that small hope in mind Midnight took another deep breath and smiled however as she was about to start pacing again, something caught her eye, light coming from a window at the large warehouse not too far off the pier...

“what? No one should be there… they’ve all gone to see the concert! Or just called it a day…”

As her curiosity instinct started to kick in, she got closer she started to hear voices

“j-just let me go!! Help!!”

It was the sound of a young girl, now Midnight’s curiosity wanted to find out what was going on… the large doors themselves were sealed, but seeing a few boxes and crates stacked together made a makeshift staircase to the window that was cracked open slightly, thus how she was able to hear the voice. As midnight peaked her head over the window she was rather shocked to see what was inside

“nmmh!! Phmm!” a now gagged Tarabel who was getting tied up by three large looking figures… was hard to make out their shapes but their voices didn’t sound so friendly

“sheesh… good thing no one is around to hear her… why couldn’t we snag her after the show?”

“Because you and I both know that as soon as the shows over, she’d be heading back to Japan and her guards would be on her”

“But… you are the head guard… couldn’t you”

“It’d raise too much suspicion! That’s why when she wanted to roam freely I instead that it would only be me and her… thus when the time was right, the result would be good”

“hehe no wonder she trusted you… well not gonna trust you any more… so what of the concert?”

“no matter, I’ll make sure to say that she had an emergency and had to head back to Japan, then perhaps see if this town will offer a bit of… donations in helping her cause”

“nmmh!! Mhpp!!” Tara struggled at hearing that thought as for Midnight her eyes widen as she couldn’t believe it either

“Those bastards! They’re holding her hostage to force the town to give money?! That’s such ransom!”

Midnight growled but then smiled as she dug into her pocket taking out her phone

“A good reporter is always prepared for anything…”

As she switch on the camera on her phone, she tried to take a shot,

“got to get closer…”

She slowly climbed through the window still trying to see the three figures clearly and aiming to get the shot of Tara as well..

“no good! Have to be careful…”

But before she got closer, she felt something grab her from behind and covered her mouth

“mpgh?!”

“And who do we have here?”

‘There was a foruth?!’ Midnight mind raced as she struggled against her captor dropping her phone, not before long the three she was watching quickly pounced and subdued her as well she was caught.

“Well.. that was unexpected.. but least now everything is under control”

As now Midnight could see standing before her a large white Tiger with orange eyes wearing a fine black suit the others that were with him also tigers wearing the same suits as well, but the other three were orange…

“A shame you are caught up in this… no matter” the White tiger said with a toothy smile

“will make this town donate a bit more…”

Midnight look on in shock as the Tigers walked away, there she saw Tarabel seeming very sadden at the ordeal…

“don’t worry ladies, it’s for a good cause… I assure you…”

As they left, Tarabel and Midnight were left to struggle with the only light that was left flicking..

okay really ought to NOT make stories late at night it seems silly and rushed....

but this is a commission I got from and I was just so happy how it came out and how he did two versions of it
I thought, Hey how about making look a bit animated?
so first animaton cheers??

then I thought... would be neat to do a story...

and then I was getting sleepy...

anyhow I also decied to give Tarabel and Midnight a bit more... depth I guess?

Tarabel is an up and coming j-pop star!
While Midnight is a reporter... of the good ol snoopy kind!

(okay just had to make something up alright?! god)

and I'll possibly post both of the original files here... maybe.
