Goodbye Shadow... — Description
After 15 good years...my boy...Shadow...has passed away today...

Had him since he was a hatchling and I gave him all my care, attention and love a Rat Snake could understand and then some.

When I first got him, I called him Shadow because his skin was jet black, but as he got bigger, he changed color to the beautiful golden bronze color you see now.

By that point, the name stuck and I coulden't change it really.

He's given me more than a few love bites (espeically when it was feeding time) but it just added to his personality, a personality I am deeply going to miss...

My only regret is that I did not get to be there when he passed away, but I was able to give him a proper burial, in our flower bed.

Take it easy my boy...you have earnt it.

Rest in peace.
