Description
"No hay trabajo malo... lo malo es tener que trabajar"Ramón Valdez
1923 - 1988
Ramón Valdez was a very famous comedy actor in Latin America, specially for the role of Don Ramón in El Chavo del Ocho TV show. I grew up watching this show and I still like it.
The phrase above is one of his most famous gags. That guy was hilarious.
I feel more comfortable drawing cartoon but it's good to try academic drawing once in a while. This time I'm trying portraits.
Hope you like it!
Cheers

I still remember Ramón Valdez as Uncle Sam!

Uncle Sam was great! haha! He also played bandits in Chapulin Colorado episodes. In Brazilian version, their names were Racha Cuca, Tripa Seca and Pirata Alma Negra. I don't know exactly how they were called originally.

Really nice work, man! You nailed Don Ramon's facial expression. I think Dob Ramon truly deserves to be recognize has one of the best comedians in the world, seriously he's should be among with other famous comedians like The 3 Stooges, Cantinflas, Chaplin and Benny Hill.

I agree with you! He was one of the best. His characters still make people laugh generation after generation. It's required a lot of talent to make something like this happen! He was a great comedian indeed.
