It was a long fight... Blows were traded between the two fighters. Both women were at their limits.
Jade couldn't believe It, she was actually being defeated? This couldn't be happening...
But before she could actually do anything to prevent that from happening, Bowsette grabbed her and started chocking her, leaving Jade helpless and trapped...
Bowsette: You fought well! But there is no way you could have beaten me!
Jade fell and Bowsette mantained her position as a champion! Who knew that Jade could be defeated... Or that's what I would say... IF SHE HADN'T ALLOWED BOWSETTE TO WIN!!!
That's right! This image IS canon and is from way back when Bowsette was still the champion! But you may be wondering. "Why would Jade let herself be defeated?"
Well that's something that you'll learn when I actually get back into the story related stuff! But just so you know. There is only one fighter Who has actually defeated her, and you guys don't know her ;) (For now...)

So not even Bowsette could legitimately take Jade down... I'm starting to wonder if there is any strategy or style that's capable of beating her, or if she just represents a level of ability that can't be touched by normal people.
Which is why I can't decide if I'm excited or scared to hear that there's another fighter on Jade's level. Excited, because if there's another than it means Jade isn't unique or invincible, and there's a chance other characters could theoretically reach that level. Scared, because that might just as easily mean there's another massive shake-up in store for the underground.
Either way its also interesting to see that Jade has been fighting since before Bowsette retired. But if she was good enough to challenge the champ back then, I wonder why nobody recognizes her now?

So many questions that will be answered! For now I'll just say that the fighter who defeated Jade isn't from the underground 😌 (I haven't shown her yet so you'll still don't know who she is but whatever)

Nah. Jade just allowed herself to be beaten. In a regular fighter Bowsette would have been defeated easily

Interesting~! I mean, I guess when ya beat everyone effortlessly, why not let someone powerful beat ya~! It is definitely hawt, and that only raises my interest in Jade~! Why she let Bowsette win, who beat her fair and square, and just her entire background in general~! But yeah, incredibly lovely stuff as always~!
