Coloring Practice - Fighter — Description

I think I’m finally ready to just freely post new drawings again. Recently, when I was uploading “sketches,” I was mostly just doodling on my phone and the new tablet… nothing really worth showing, haha.

I think I’m ready to move on from just posting doodles. That whole “sketches” phase was fun, but it’s done for me - I’ve shown enough of those practice scribbles, and it’s time to take the next step.

This drawing is from today. I wanted to finally break through and try some color, so I picked a super simple character design that I could handle and just gave it my all. Honestly, there’s a huge gap between my drawing skills and my coloring skills so whenever I add colors, it feels like I’m ruining the piece, haha.

But I’ve decided I don’t care anymore. I’ll treat myself as a beginner and just share my progress openly. I don’t need to be good at everything, and I’ll never improve if I keep holding myself back. From now on, I just want to have fun with it!
