Add One Counterclockwise — Description
"How did he get done so fast?" Lily muttered as she watched Severus Snape bottle up his potion sample to turn in for grading while she continued to feverishly work away on hers.
A moment later she heard someone behind her say, "Add one counterclockwise."
"What?"
It was Snape, walking past her with his potion sample. "You wanted to know how I got done so fast? Add a counterclockwise stir after every third clockwise stir." And without another word he continued up to Slughorn's desk, dropped off his flask, and left the classroom.
That's ridiculous, Lily thought. And yet . . . she found herself counting three stirs . . . then just to see what would happen . . . stirred once in the opposite direction . . .

Heh. I'm not really one to fanfic, but there's a little scene for you. Snape earns a little respect from Evans. The question is . . . why would he share that precious information with her in the first place? Hm . . . ^_~
