"Optimus Prime"
(The Transformers)

Now that their eons long war has spread from their home planet of Cybertron to the planet Earth, leader of the heroic Autobots and chosen keeper of the Matrix of Leadership Optimus Prime fights to keep the evil Megatron and his Decepticon forces from draining Earth of its natural energies and using it to take over not only their planet and ours, but the rest of the known universe!

Of course he needs no introduction, Optimus Prime, the iconic legend himself, hero and role model to many youngers growing up in the 1980s. The reaction to his death in the 1986 animated Transformers movie from the children who loved him (well, actually the letters from parents telling them their reactions) was so bad it made Hasbro refuse to ever kill him off for good or ever again without a resurrection planned. At least for now anyways, who knows what the future holds, but we can feel safe for now. I've probably jinxed it now, lol

Pretty much nothing really special here design wise, I just wanted to take a modern animation aesthetic and fuse it with a healthy dose of his iconic and original Sunbow era animation look and feel. I made him a little bulkier and wider in his upper body so he looked a little more powerful and like a robot equivalent of a Superman sorta character (or at least how I draw Superman anyways, lol) and added the wheels back on his lower legs that the toy has. The other wheels don't appear on his hips as I assume he transforms similar to the Masterpiece Optimus Prime toy and they are hidden up in his torso somewhere.

(NOTE: this is a work of fiction, this is not for a REAL animated series! I don't work in the animation industry in any way.)

**EDIT: I rescaled his head and adjusted his collar area for better proportion, and I used the new version of my Autobot insignia on his shoulder.**
