The Rift — Description
The Rift
Quick job in Terragen and Photoshop. Rendered a little larger than I usually do - 3200x2400 instead of 2800x2100 - so I think quality improved somewhat. The name comes from the focus at the center, where the sun seems to be permeating through clouds and forcing them away. This piece had minimal postwork aside from the border and some sharpening, all the colors and such were in Terragen. Midwinter vacation is coming up in about a week, expect some more new stuff then.

EDIT: Many thanks for the Daily Deviation!
EDIT #2: Made it a JPEG to reduce filesize/loading times.
