She sat there looking over her shoulder at the children, showing the children her rope-bound wrists, huffing through the tape to make it abundantly clear that play time was over.
But apparently, the kids had other places to be.
“Let’s go watch television,” one sibling said, paying their muffled babysitter no heed.
To her incredulity, she watched them and just…leave. No pretense of a game, no reason at all.
She bobbed her head after them, now mumbling after them through the gag in frustration…they couldn’t just leave her there, like that!
How would she explain this to their parents…!?
