Alphys is a little lizard monster. She is really smart and young. Her eyes shine with Perseverance, however, she is not able to use magic, the only thing she can summon is her fighting gloves allowing her to send electric shocks through the gloves. They are not good in fights, but she’s really smart and doesn’t need magic and strength to win her fights: she’s a real engineer.

Queen Toriel found her wandering in the streets of the city, selling littles machines and inventions. Toriel was amazed by her talents, skills, and ideas. Toriel decided to take Alphys under her wing to teach the little lizard monster all she knows about science and physics. Alphys worked hard and prooved Toriel that she was good enough to be the royal scientist. That’s why, 5 years ago, Toriel built a new lab for Alphys to work in.

She met Undyne not a long time ago, and hang out with her from now and then. They go out in waterfall to enjoy the river but stay 5th apart because they’re not ... you know ...
