Well, I couldn't help myself.
I did this last week in roughly an hour and decided against posting it until now. Asked me last week if I'd like to do the 'Double Meme' [link] with her, and of course I wanted to!
This was supposed to be for number 5, but I was too happy with the result and had to upload it to show you guys.
Red X = Jason Todd. I don't even care. IT JUST MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE. EVEN BEAST BOY THINKS SO.
Drawing Robin in the Teen Titans style without his mask hurt. A lot. It feels so odd and I still think it looks weird. XDDD; I'm just so happy with Jason. >___> MMPH.

I want this to be true.
Jason is bigger and taller than Dick. But it is hard to overlook that Red X calls Robin 'kid' when Dick is at least four years older than Jason. Β

What's abit Ironic is that when Jason Todd as you said was a vigilante that kills villains, called himself ''Red Hood'' as his codename plus whoever wears Red X's suit as Robin (Dick Grayson) named himslef, both of these characters have codenames that starts with ''Red'', some fans believe it's Jason Todd, and another believes that he could be Slade's older son that he's the brother of Jericho and Rose Wilson, or even the Goth Boy the one who talks with Raven in episode 2 (i think but i doubt that a normal goth being so bored and unskilled can steal a suit without being detected or captured).
Another clue is that his martial arts is extremely skilled such as Robin's techniques even if he fights with the X blades is abit different, this is one thing we'll never know unless we see a 6th Season sinceΒ 3 villains are the last remaining criminalsΒ even if Red X isn't a bad or good guy as a thief, yeah him since the last seen we saw him is when his bike was exploded and Robin saved him (When they were racing that Robin tries to retrieve his suitcase back and Red X was interested toΒ steal it to find out what's Inside but thats Something i always wondered what was Inside of that suitcase) and Red X was returning the favor by destroying all the villains's vehicules (except the titans when they were riding on the bus) so that Robin has enough chance to retrieve his suitcase back and he disappeared. Also Slade is still hidden somewhere in the city with his new unknown headquarters as he may still have more plans up to his sleeves. And finally the White Monster who mysteriously camed out of nowhere that it can absorb by touching any material parts, even the lava. I really hate endings with cliffhangers. Β

Red X was Taller then Dick in the show. That doesn't mean he was older! Jason after all in the comic book's is quit frequently depicted as a taller and bigger guy then Dick.

I like Dick being the youngest and Red X (Jason Todd) watching over him as a protective brother. The Batman Family doesn't realize he's alive... And Jason being protective doesn't really match his personality, but that's why he's Red X and not Red Hood... Makes sense?

Really cool picture and I agree that the whole Red X being Jason Todd makes a lot of sense to me. At least I like to think that Red X is Jason Todd since Red X could be this versions Teen Titans version of Red Hood who is Jason Todd in the comics.

I think the creators of the show may have just left him without a definitive identification to leave it up to the fans to speculate. I think that he was made as a homage to Jason, but if we're going to go into extreme specifics/comic canon, yes, it makes no sense whatsoever. But going by the 'canon' the show had going, it would be plausible.Β

Grayson was Robin who invented RED X. He finds out someone found where he was keeping the suit an stole it and went around acting much like Jason Todd. In this universe He is JT. They've hinted at it so much that there really is no doubt it's Jason todd.

I agree with you on Red X being Jason Todd. I believe Red X is a new version of Red Hood. That's how I learned that it had to be Jason Todd.

If we're going by comic canon, then it's not possible (Jason was younger than Dick. And in the show, Red X appears older than Robin.). If we're going by what the show gave us alone then sure, I think it can make sense but I'm not opposed to other theories and suggestions.

I have thought about that, and more I do, it makes me believe, "who really even knows?" I've seen lots of fan art of people's theory on Red X. Some believe it might be Slade's eldest son, Grant; or even that gothic guy in the episode "Sisters" that was talking with Raven. I'm mostly going with what I believe.
Still, the story could go either way. Maybe it's Jason Todd, or whoever; everyone's entitled to their own theory and that I can respect.
Like they say, "go with your own beliefs."

Anyone who knows anything about the comics knows what 'logic' you're speaking of. I don't need correcting. I'm fully aware that it makes no sense for Red X = Jason Todd simply because Dick is too young, as he's still donning the identity of Robin. I repeat: it's popular fan theory as the TeenTitans cartoon makes no sense as is anyway. If you were really as critical as you think you are, you'd know that.Β

You drew them both really well. Their expressions speak volumes and I actually sort of like Robin without his mask. Also, YOU GOT THE STREAK IN JASON'S HAIR. YES.
I like the whole "Jason is Red X" theory, even if it does have a few holes in it. DC continuity is so out there anyway; it's a lost cause trying to sort through it all. As for the issue of Jason being younger, I don't think it's that crazy to imagine him calling the Titans "kids" simply out of ego. Personality-wise, he seems to think being a hero is stupid/not even worth it, and that to get anything done in the world, you have to cross a few lines... twice. Which is why he's a villain in the first place. Because the Titans are such, well, goodie-goodies, he might view them as being inferior or less mature in their thinking. Thus, "kids."
It doesn't matter anyway. The theory is good for some plot.

I think they didn't give Red X an identity so there could be an opening for fans to make up their own theory for his identity and such. Him being Jason Todd just seems to be the most popular one. One theory doesn't hold more value than the next.

How does it make sense that Red X is Jason? How does it even make even more sense that Beast Boy thinks so? Beast Boy thinking so only proves how much more ridiculous it is.
Now I am a fan of both Jason Todd and Red X. Both of them make pretty awesome foils to Robin but they as different as they are alike.
For one, Jason is murderous, angry, and rather psychotic. Which goes against Red X's "You are taking life way to seriously". Yes, both of them like to troll the Titans but in different ways. Jason likes to torment them with guilt while X likes to torment them with being just so slick.
Plus Jason would WANT Robin to know it was him. X likes keeping himself a mystery.
And the most important thing is that Red X and Jason are different in age. The Robin of the Teen Titans show was Dick Grayson. The first and OLDEST Robin. Notice how Red X likes to call the Titans "kids" and is slightly taller. If Dick Grasyon is still Robin then there is no way X could be Jason. Jason would either be still with Batman or dead (which would only further why the other Titans though t Beast Boy was being stupid). And again. Jason is supposed to be younger than Dick. I'm sorry but if you tell me something like "Oh but they could've just changed so that Jason was never Robin and older than Dick" then that's just taking long strides for some one that was never intended to be revealed.

It is the very slightest of possibilities. It comes to a point where if is revealed to be Jason, it'll be more of an ass-pull or just fanservice rather than a well written twist.

Red X does seems more like Catwoman than Jason but... X is a guy and I don't think Selina has a nephew. She has a daughter but no nephew/son...
I like that theory but it a wild guess. Even wider than Jason Todd. The writers probably based Red X off of Jason and Selina.
