Amethyst AU..? — Description

"K_G why do you keep making characters that require additional context from stories you never release or finish?" uh...
I had an idea for an alternate story for 'Codename: Violet'. We know she was incomplete and warped from another world by the Phantom Ruby. She developed her own powers and personality. In this story, Violet was finished and we prepared to work with their creator. But the Ruby transported them to another world... before hypnotizing and essentially possessing them. A̷̡̩̒m̴͉̂̑͜e̷̻̦̍t̷̗͈̉̋h̵̡̭͗y̵̛̗̱s̵̬̳̋̈ţ̵͝ is no more than a puppet to the Ruby. They're completely unaware of this, believing they were always meant to collect to Chaos Emeralds, which will be used to bring the Ruby form...
If I ever complete this story, it will serve as the origin story of Ruby the Cat. (this artwork is used in the background). And since the Ruby travels between dimensions and time, she will likely come to bring chaos to our Katie's world... But like most things, I likely won't finish it...
