came across this from a post on a prop forum where you questioned the workings of the singularity gun.
for the question on the singularity gun, the principle is usually that it fires a stasis capsule with a "zero point" molecule with a lifespan of about 10 seconds in it at the target. stasis fails and the black-hole occurs, but the particle that causes it degrades and without it the black-hole collapses.
