Wells - Martian Handling Machine — Description
According to the narrator, much more complex than the Fighting Machine. it was characterized by countless extendable tentacles and arms. They were piloted by the by Martians (Martian (Invader) ) who were visible via open cockpit

Like with other machines I based my design aesthetically on bones, namely ribcage and woven bone histological structure.

I also think that this organic bone-like aesthetics makes sense lore-wise. These machines weren't built in factories where everything would be symmetrical and neat. All this stuff was forged and assembled by the Martians in the field, in particular in quite hard environmental conditions (for them) So this stuff would be by definition very rough and made only to function, not to look appealing.
