Description
One of the rare cases that I draw a Mythos creature that I haven't personally read about. I only know the description from the web. It was quite a challenge to make it different from my Yag Kosha who is also an elephant headed alien and Cthulhu whom I also portray in somewhat elephantine manner. But I hope I succeded. Apart from the ears. The ears suck horribly..Anyway for some reason I am not sure If I am going to redo these ears so I'm uploading it now.
What I like best about it is the way I portrayed it's tusks; usually in Faugn's depiction they seem completely useless part that would only be problematic for the creature
"Words could not adequately convey the repulsiveness of the thing. It was endowed with a trunk and great, uneven ears, and two enormous tusks protruded from the corners of its mouth. But it was not an elephant. Indeed, its resemblace to an actual elephant was, at best, sporadic and superficial, despite certain unmistakable points of similarity. The ears were webbed and tentacled, the trunk terminated in a huge flaring disk at least a foot in diameter, and the tusks, which intertwined and interlocked at the base of the statue, were as translucent as rock crystal."
Frank Belknap Long, The Horror From the Hills
