Description
Heavily remade design and despite not being able to completely erase previous outlines I am extremely happy with final result. as you can see I have made it much more elongated and serpentine. It is skinnier too. I guess just like inl life, the skinnier, the more I appreciate.
The wings continue to be heavily inspired with Yi qi however rest of the body has lost much of it's original resemblence to a dinosaur.
As you probably already know Basilisk is among my favourite fantasy beasts. I love it's semi avian, semi reptilian look as well as unusual and terrifying method of killing it'ssurroundings (which, according to most extreme versions of the legend leads to creation of a desert where basilisk lives)
www.smithsonianmag.com/history… Here, some interesting story regarding the famous Polish basilisk from 1587.
