Japanese Counterpart:
Shield Sentai Mahokishiger (シールド戦隊魔法騎士ジャー- Shīrudo Sentai Mahokishija lit. Shield Squadron Magic Knight Rangers)
Plot:
Long ago, in the Magic Land of United Kingdom there was a kingdom unlike any other. Its people lived side by side with beings the rest of the world dismissed as myths: griffins soaring across the skies, hippocampus emerging from lochs, unicorns galloping through enchanted forests, and other creatures of legend. These bonds of trust and respect formed the foundation of a powerful alliance between mankind and the mystical. But peace was shattered when a ruthless horde, known as the Horde Kingdom, descended from the stars to claim Earth as their prize. To protect their realm, five brave warriors were chosen by fate and by magic. They became the Legend Knights, defenders of both humankind and the mythical creatures they called allies. Armed with enchanted talismans that held the spirits of ancient beasts, and riding into battle alongside sentient, living Zords in the form of legendary creatures, they turned the tide against the invaders. For centuries, the Knights’ victory endured. The Horde Kingdom were defeated and banished, their dark leader sealed away. The mystical Zords entered a deep hibernation, awaiting the day when they would once again be needed. The tales of the Knights faded into legend, their exploits remembered only in folklore. Humanity advanced, leaving behind the old magic—until now. In the modern day, Earth thrives in peace, its people oblivious to the battles once fought to preserve their world. But from Dark Portal, the Horde Kingdom rise again, their hunger for conquest renewed and their leader freed from imprisonment. With Earth once more in their sight, ancient powers stir. Five ordinary teenagers, bound by destiny, are chosen to inherit the mantle of the Power Rangers Legend Knights. Guided by the spirits of the ancient warriors, they unlock the power of the talismans, summon the mythical Zords from their slumber, and wield legendary weapons forged in a time when magic and steel shaped kingdoms. Now, the new Legend Knights must balance their lives in the modern world with the eternal duty of defending it—united by courage, friendship, and the living legends of old.
