I understand how people like getting comments but I truly get annoyed by those who will have a rule that you have to comment on their art if you’re gonna fav it. I’ve dealt with that on amino before. Oh well, people think what they wish.

Yep. Just don't expect me to thank you for the fav - I did something and you fav'd it? Nice. You did something and I fav'd it without commenting? Cool. We've got a mutual agreement going on here.

usually I'm too shy to comment something and just favorite it. SO when people come on to my account and are like "Hey if u fav u gotta comment" I'm like but whyyyy I have nothing to say art it good but commenting it makes me uncomfortable ; n ;

Even if I really love getting comments and I like them more than favs, I think the favs are a compliment itself.

The other day I saw a terrible, terrible stamp that said "I hate favs without comments", and I was like asdgfdsgf STOP BEING A COMMENT WHORE AND APPRECIATE THAT PEOPLE PUT YOUR STUFF IN THEIR FAVORITE GALLERIES!
I know I love comments, and I don't always comment on the pictures I favorite, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate those pictures D: Sometimes I just can't come up with the thousand words to describe the picture. So a fav will do :3

I saw this person who said anyone who favs and doesn't comment will be killed. Something like that. Its just wrong, if you ask me. And I heard some stalk you, to just tell you to comment on the pic they faved.

If I commented on every picture I faved, I would never leave the computer.
I do comment if it leaves a strong impression on me, or if I feel like the artist should understand something about my thoughts on it.
