Tragedy — Description
Please, read the description before commenting:

1) Just because Grillde is dead, it doesn't mean I won't draw her anymore. She's only dead in the storyline of my post-game fanfic.

2) And speaking of post-game fanfic, this is why she died: I WANT TO MOVE ON. I want to finish this story arc with Sprog meeting Chans so that I can show you the other two (possibly three) story arcs that compose this whole fanon of mine.
So again, just because I'm establishing Grillde dies, it doesn't mean I won't come back to this first story arc and reveal more things, it's just that now I want to move on.
Believe me, I got so much world-building, new characters and places to show you through Sprog's life, so you will see some cool stuff once I'm done with Chans, one thing at a time.

3) In my fanon, when a monster dies, it doesn't just get stabbed and then puffs into dust like the game shows: they bleed to death, then their corpses, instead of rotting like our bodies do, slowly get the consistency of wet sand. Then they dry out completely to the point they collapse into dust/ash that the wind can blow away easily. I might be a sick bastard for doing this instead, but I want deaths and pain to feel more impactful.

4) Still in my fanon, I headcanon that Fire Monsters aren't literally made of fire, but the fire enveloping their bodies is simply how the magic that gives them life shows the heat of their bodies.
If Grillde cut a lock of hair, that cut lock would "turn off". Underwater, her body doesn't turn off but is luminescent (again, this is why this comic won't be the last time you'll see her). And the blood of Fire Monsters is this white-hot looking thing that becomes crimson red like regular blood as soon as it becomes cold, similar to the cut hair. And as the Fire Monster bleeds to death, all the white-hot blood goes out and the body becomes less and less luminescent, getting cold... until it turns off completely. And they kinda look like aliens with hair lol

In any case, this is the Death of Gwen Stacy of Sprog's life.
His journey into the dark places has begun, and boy is it gonna get dark in the next arcs (unlike many fanfics and AUs this story with Sprog actually has an ending planned, I won't go on making shit up without a plan until I get sick of it and leave it unfinished), but it's also going to have a lot of neat stuff and developments. Or at least my idea of neat.
