Decided to draw Kiki in black and white.He doesn't look very happy here, yes, but we can't all be happy all the time, right?
Also he's starting to look a lot more like a chimp than a monkey, but that's alright. He has a tail, so technically he's a monkey still... So perhaps he's part human, part monkey, and part ape. Yeah, let's go with that...
Took maybe 3 - 4 hours in Photoshop.

Impressive eye for detail, and the fur is truly well done, though I don't think monkeys look THAT soft in real life.
His facial expression is nicely done and an expression we don't see enough in drawings. I salute you for taking a path less traveled.

Pretty amazing. I love how you use the lights and darks here and how you rendered the fur. He seems to be deep in thought to me.
