Choosing to continue — Description
Don't think I've shared this here yet, but when me and my mum went to Bulgaria, I got a tattoo.
It's one I've been thinking about for a while, and I'm glad I finally did it.
The semicolon (or semi-colon) is used as a mark for a prevention cause against self-harm and suicide. It means a lot to me, as it's something I've struggled with, and am struggling with on seldom occasions. It's something a lot of people I hold dear have struggled with, or are struggling with too.
I look at it like this: A semicolon is something you write when you could finish your sentence, but choose to continue it by adding another point to the sentence.
I'd like to take that as a metaphor to life, and thus I intended the heartbeat in front of it.
