Always stepping on their heads! Shoving them back into their shells and then kicking 'em around for the fun of it!
Yup. A trick as old as time itself. Has been implemented since the beginning of the entire series. Mario jumping on koopas. Sometimes he might jump hard enough to push them out of their shell. Like in Super Mario 64 where you can do that also ride the koopa's shell after essentially evicting him from his home.
In Super Mario 3D World, the same thing happens, but they'll go chasing after their shell, desperately trying to catch it and get back in. Sometimes their not successful and I just can't help but feel bad for them really lol
