Near Fatality | Rake VS Mothman — Description

This matchup is very intriguing to me. I do understand how this one could never work considering how Creepypasta and Cryptids/American Folklore are, but. I cannot deny the similarities and contrast between these two, now. Scaling these two to anything is not easy or possible, but. I can see why some may like this idea, me too. But the idea doesn’t really work too much in overall execution and would never happen.
Rake (Creepypasta)
Mothman (American Folklore)

• Both emerged or gained widespread popularity through modern media and folklore channels (Mothman via 1960s reports and later books/film; the Rake primarily through internet creepypasta and online horror communities).
• Both are described as having elongated or exaggerated limbs/features that contribute to an eerie, non-human silhouette.
• Both evoke similar themes of unexplained fear, the unknown, and encounters that leave witnesses disturbed rather than physically attacked in every account.
