Here's another pic based off of Resmiranda's Inuyasha epic fanfic "Tales From the House of the Moon": [link]Once again I stress, it's one of the best fanfics I've ever read!
Kagome/Sesshoumaru
I took the idea from chapters 32-33, when Kagome is undergoing miko training from Fuyu. At night, Kagome contemplates killing and dying, while Sesshoumaru is still in denial (hmmm, it must run in their family... )
For those not familiar with the story, the lines on Kagome's hands are scars from a battle.
Done in Copics, and Corel Photopaint 9.

Both are beautiful and sad songs. I had a hard time choosing which one I thought went better with the pic, so I just decided to offer both. The whole soundtrack is amazing, so if you get the chance, buy it.

I love this pic and am actually in the process of rereading the story and happen to love the way you portrayed Sesshomaru and Kagome. I know I should have said it sooner because I faved this piece and all.

This is so gorgeous. The ONLY thing I see wrong (but it doesn't take away from the pic, I'm just telling you) is that Sessh wouldn't have his white/red kimono. I think he had an all-white one with a splash of violet. I'm the only one who would notice something like that, because I've read HotM more times than Twilight, lmao.
How's the mini-Kara doing? Coming up on two, huh? Is she talking? My little guy is JUST beginning to talk, and he's 17 months. I hope all is well!

Incidentally, I happened to be watching the webcast of a concert at the same time I came to the end of Ch. 32, and heard Damien Rice singing "The Blower's Daughter." Not series music, but the lyrics just fit the scene so well...

I'm also an Inu/Kag shipper (so I definitely can't wait to see that pic you were talking about) but this is beautiful, as usual. There's just *something* about Sesshoumaru, isn't there?
Oh and thank you so much for the 2 songs. I unfortunately have seen only about half of the anime but I LOVE the main theme, so An Elegy has been played in repeat mode like crazy.
