black hole cuts right through body and rips through wings. held together by a careful balance of black hole gravitational pull and magical repulsion.

planetary halo! that’s supposed to be the earth, sun and the moon in a syzygy (hence the name). the entire system functions precisely with the timing of the actual planets. other planets will occasionally show up around the halo. (i know the relative sizes/distances are incorrect sorry XD)

during the syzygy, their magic power intensifies by 3x, but so does the black hole’s strength.

did i mention the black hole, about the size of its chest? this guy is not small (though that wouldn’t matter much anyways). has a horrendous gravitational field aura, as in standing within an earth-radius of this guy will rip you apart with ~33g.

on the bright side being able to create a repulsion strong enough to resist a black hole is pretty damn good magic
