He might smell her and know the truth. There was an episode of Looney tunes where Penelope Pussycat had a white stripe painted down her back so she could be used as a skunk. Pepe Le Pew got into the position for the skunk first and the man that wanted a fake skunk got a shock when he realised that Pepe was real and the other animals ran away. As you may have guessed Pepe chased Penelope. Eventually she jumped into some water and he noticed that the stripe washed off and that she wasn't a skunk at all. So he put black paint over the stripes down his back. The idea for this could have come from that.

Hmm. Aside from the fact that paint can't mask odors that's pretty smart of Fifi. If she sprayed on some strong perfume it may work.
Nice job man!

Well, Pepe shouldn't mind Fifi cheating because he did similar before.

Pepe did the same thing when he found out that Penelope wasn't a skunk in one episode.

I don't remember the title but it takes place in a movie set. Pepe had Penelope at a cliff of a "Perils of Pauline" set in which Penelope jumps. She lane a tank of water and Pepe sees Penelope come out without the stripe. When he realized that she isn't a skunk, he goes and paints his own stripe so he looks like a cat. From there he continues his chase which is how the short ends.

The Thunderbirds episode The Perils of Penelope was based on Perils of Pauline. The Wacky Races spin off The Perils of Penelope Pitstop was also based on Perils of Pauline. The deviant Walnutwilly had done Perils of Penelope Pussycat.

Add the Garfield Episode The Perils of Penelope to the mix and you got one giant Reference Pie.

Hehe... If a paint erased her odor, this is a good idea for these both. Good job!
