March 23rd, 2028.

sevral years ago, shortly after the development of interstellar travel, a large portion of the people of Raysia began migrating from Earth to accellerate the growth of a colony on a planet that came to be known as Zarahemla. During this time, the population shifted, gradually at first, then dramatically. Eager to escape all the politics and conflicts of Earth, the Corporate Nation of Raysia had found its new home, and the population began to flock by the hundreds of millions per year. The Raysians became colonizers, opening new planets for real estate, and providing their communities as rest stops for interstellar travellers between Earth and the Galactic Core Worlds, Zarahemla being one of them.

With her earthly military bases relatively abandoned, and most of the major cities annexed by neighboring nations, an expedition from the Raysian Aerospace Marine Force arrives, in order to replenish military stockpiles and national defense with up-to-date technology.

The Kryptonite and the Kumen-class vessels, both 1st-edition vessels in a line of craft wielding breakthough technologies such as the VILE drive, are delivered to the remainder of the now-small nationstate of only 350,000,000 people. This being just the first installment, the primary objective of the expedition is to simply see to what degree the military needs to be upgraded... some technologies being old enough to still be considered late-20th century tech level.

The Earthly nation of Raysia remains it's Terran Outpost, and is the head of international relations. Most of the people live relatively quiet lives, not causing too much trouble, but offering plenty of service to their neighboring nations. They peddle weapons and military vessels as their primary means of income and major exports.
