Who here knows the movie Arrival?
Remember the weird coffee stain rings?
In the original story, they were given rather more of an explanation. Almost like a language you could actually write with a pen, but with all the SPOILERS chronological fuckery intact. The non-linear nature of the language seeps into the structure of the prose. You have to know every word in the sentence, and how much space it'll take up, and what order it'll be in, before you write one stroke.
Being, as I am, a crazy person, I made a constructed language that works like that.
It honestly hurts my mind and soul to write. END SPOILERS

Anyway, that thingy up there roughly translates to "The sun shines." I will post a more comprehensive and headachey guide if people seem interested.
