Description
O.K. I've had good days; you know the ones where everything is just... working. Well this wasn't one of them. There are still minor imperfections and in my view thats just bad for my already sh*ty reputation for 3-D art. But after all of that I'm still happy with it as a whole and I like it then what else should matterNow for the specs and stuff.
This weapon is for the demoman.
It's a Primary weapon.
+300% firing speed.
Damage is consistant at all rages within explosion radius.
+100% projectile liftime.
+200% damage vs buildings.
projectiles now stick to the first surface they land on.
projectiles are detonated by proximity.
-20% projectile speed.
ammo is now reloaded in clips.
1.5s arming time.
+50% self damage taken.
no random crits.
-20% damage done.
projectile explosions do not administer any physics effects.
projectiles whoes lifetime runns out will disapear rather than explode.
So what do these numbers mean? Well I'll tell you. The Shotlauncher is kinda like a temporary sticky bomb launcher. The bombs will stay put temporarily on surfaces until they either:
(A) the lifetime runs out and they disapear.
(B) the proximity detects someone INCLUDING YOU getting too close and detonates itself.
Good uses for it are holding off approching hordes of people until you can get out your sticky launcher. or setting traps while retreating. Attacking is NOT enchouraged while using this weapon. The arm time, clip loading, slow projectile speed and self damage done will surely ruin your day.
Three last things thats very important. First when it said that projectiles stick to the first surface they land on it wasn't kidding. If it hits another player on the other team it will stick to them and not fall of or detonate until it's armed.
Second buildings don't count as proximity tripping objects so it is difficult to do damage to them. Not saying there no reward if you do though.
And three airblasts can remove the projectile from players as well they can land back on YOU and REALLY ruin your day with the combined force of a mini crit AND your added self damage counter, which still workes even after the other player has returned your projectile.
These projectiles do NOT stick to your team mates so don't worry about that getting in your way.
And thats all there is left. Thanks for reading
