Description For the first time in a while everything... worked. I had problems with scripts, textures poly-modifiers you name it but this time everything came out O.K. so on with what "it" is.

The "Atom Buster" is a primary weapon for the Scout class.

Ammo loaded: 4 / 1
Ammo carried: 16 / 6
reload type: dual

O.K. by now your confused right? thought so. what it's saying is that there are two weapons mounted to the same gun. The first is a modified scattergun with four barrels. The second is a Nuclear Flare launcher
(see down for "Nuclear Flare)

The regular Scatter gun does identical damage, reload type (different animation but yeah), bullet spred ect. but has half loaded ammo and only 66% of it's normal ammo capacity. The flare has one shot and is ALWAYS loaded after the scattergun is. If the scatter gun is already loaded then the scout will simply load the flare, or if the flares full it will load the scatter gun, get it?
The flares are fired via secondary trigger. They have a very slow reload time so it's best to do so when the battle has moved from your position. As well the flare can be fired while your fireing your scatter gun; they do not effect eachothers firing setup.

-Nuclear Flare
A Nuclear Flare moves and travels at identical speeds and projectory and deals the same damage to the Pyro's regular flare minus a few differences. The Nuclear Flare has a much brighter glow and it has no smoke. It can also be air blasted but doing so will ALWAYS result in the destruction of the flare reguardless of the special atributes of the reflecting weapon. Finally on impact with a player it will irradiat the player (see below for "radiation")
on impact with anything else (including buildings) the flare will be destroyed and administer no effects or damage.

-radiation
An effect like bleeding, burning, or having mad milk on the player. In this case being irradiated means the player can not be healed by ANY means whether it be medics, med kits ect., nothing other than a resuply cabinet can heal the player. Once a player is irradiated they will have to wait a certain ammount of time for the effect to disapear the base is 5 seconds. However a medic's medigun (any kind) can reduce this time to 20% (one second) once this happens the healing will continue normally as well mulitple medics, when combined, will have there removing effect added together rather than taken a percent of eachothers origanal percent.

example:
origanal time 5s
+ 1 medic = 1s
+ 1 more medic = 0s)

being irradiated does NOT prevent Ubercharges and does NOT stop the mediguns healing beam from making conection to the healing target

Effect that an irradiated player will show will be a enhanced rim hilight that is tinted green, VERY green. The enhanced green rim highlight will be very visible to both teams even from a distance.

and thats about it. um. yeah, you can just say what you want and yeah so... today was a good day :) (Smile)
