I also have a Lapras named Moira, which is a Scottish name, meaning "Women of the sea."
I'd say for one of the most a water-type based on the Loch Ness Monster, it fits perfectly.
And I'm sure there is NOTHING awkward that could've possibly happened in the last few months that would make Lapras an awkward subject...
