Description even for the experienced.

---

She glanced across from the pile of stones, which were scorched from the warming sun. Her anxious fur rose even further off her skin as she rubbed against the stones. This was the rabbit's only protection from certain death at the moment, as the first cogs of a group flew down from the blue cloud filled skies. It would have been a beautiful day if it weren't for this situation of near trauma.

Tamaka held her squirt gun in her paw with a firm grasp as she attempted to hide under this short barrier. The orange cat Clyde was lucky, he didn't have long ears that did whatever they want. The brisk wind flowing in short bursts pushed her cream ears above the stones, revealing their spot despite their heavy breathes.

"Hey Clyde.. how much laff ya got?" She mumbled as quietly as she could. He looked over at her, into her unique two-colored eyes. Instantly the soldier knew it wasn't so good. His low laff was shown through the tears rolling down his face. The orange cat's squirt gun was low on water, but Tamaka's was full. The rabbit knew him for not so long, but despite this, she always looked out for him. They switched squirt guns, Clyde begging her not to, but Tamaka insisted it because she knew Clyde wasn't going to make it. With this, it was still possible they'll speak to each other again.

Clyde disagreed with this heavily, convinced that his laff is about to reach zero. He reached into one of his belt pockets, pulling out a picture of a loved one. Tamaka left him to his mourning, waiting for the right moment as the cogs drew closer to their position. A Two-Face flew down onto the grass, creating a path in its heavy, metallic weight, as it walked towards the stones. Lucky for them, the cogs were slow.
The agile warrior had a blushing red face, tearing up in the moment of pressure. It's always difficult for her, despite the fact that she's highly experienced in the field. But this was her friend, how could she lose him in a moment like this?

Enough, she thought in her head. They had to break from their position and FIGHT. Signalling to Clyde, she stood up and steadily rolled a good length away from the cogs. Keeping her balance on the dried grass, she went into battle with the cogs, a few various gags in her belt. Grabbing a whole fruit pie from her belt, it went into full size in her paw, and threw it across the field with her upper-arm strength. Her friend was nowhere to be seen, but she was trapped in battle and couldn't look for him. The cog was speeding up towards Tamaka and she turned the water on her squirt gun, the cog losing damage repeatedly. She was nearly hit with one of the Two-Face's weapons, but it missed her. As she spun around, once again the water hit the cog, as it was damaged to the point that it exploded.

The Bean Counter that was approaching from the sky was nowhere to be seen, either. Frantically, with her face still flushed, she rushed over to the nearby stream. Finding the path of walked-over grass that the Bean Counter created, she followed it and semi footprints from both a robot and a toon. Her jacket bouncing as she ran, she held her head to calm down.

No..
It couldn't be.

Could it?
Was this the body of her friend?

...
Just lying in the water?

How could this happen? How could she let this happen?
But somehow, she knew that it was bound to happen. Clyde was pressured into the field, with the recent low amount of recruits. Toontown was in a disaster, and they weren't financially able to send off as many toons to be trained. Tamaka doesn't understand, she hasn't been in Toontown for years. How could they let this happen to such a young soldier?

All of these thoughts raced through her head as she held the body that she only just an hour ago was having a laugh with. The water trickled down the stream onto his dirtied clothes. There was nobody to blame but herself, the cog was gone. Its job was done here.

Tamaka didn't know what to do but just sit there, up until the rest of the troops met up with her.

This drawing took me so long it's not even funny XD. I don't mind though, I had fun drawing it. Never drawn a cog before either o.O
The story also took me a bit to write, I HATE writing D: pisses me off and stresses me out. So I hope it's at least decent. Took me awhile to cut to the chase but, whatever.. writing is no longer my thing, so I won't care for it.

I came up with the idea of having my toon oc Tamaka, who is in the toon war, battling some cogs. This isn't exactly a battle drawing but. whatever? And I just randomly drew a cat next to her, and my friend named him Clyde. So yeah XD.
Lemme know if this drawing and story made you feel anything, I'm curious

If you want to see it without shading, here ya go. i.imgur.com/iQykGmj.jpg and yes I added a texture.. and yes I stole the sky from the Blondie drawing D: shhhh im lazy
