The Carioca accent (the one from Rio de Janeiro), as I understand it, holds close to the language's European roots. To my ears, it makes a lot of distinct "sh" noises, as if Sean Connery is speaking Portuguese. I once met a guy who had a thick Carioca accent, enough that some other people suspected he was deliberately exaggerating it.
So yeah, I just wanted to make a random comic about it with Fantasma (who's from São Paulo) and Captain Miracle.
