Inseparable — Description
Before anything is said, yes I put this under fanart, but no, it is not all fanart. Kasumi-chan is a character that is featured in the fighting game Dead or Alive which is published by Tecmo. However, the man in front of her with the gun is my idea and my idea alone. His name is Jack Wallace and he is the main character of a sort of mythology I have built around the history of Dead or Alive and Jack's relation to that story and the character's involved, though he is not in any of the games or an official character. (the story though is quite detailed, accurate, and amazing. Itagaki would be proud!)

This is a *really* old picture of Jack and Kasumi when I was still a noob at a lot of basic concepts when it came to faces and coloring (well more noob than I am now). Hell, I didn't even have a real background for this one. haha

The basic idea of this pic is to show that If Kasumi is facing pain, Jack will risk everything he's got to make sure she stays protected and safe, despite the fact that she can take care of herself. I made this to illustrate the tight passionate bond he and Kasumi share with each other because both of them have scarred pasts and are basically alone in teh world. Though both of them can stand alone when there's trouble, they always tend to rely on each other to take on painful situations.

This drawing is so old, I can't really tell you for sure what I used to do the sketch, though I think it was just a standard #2 pencil and a pink eraser. the coloring was in Photoshop elements 3.0 as well as the inking of the lines, though I didn't take much time to perfect the shading as you can probably see compared to my other work.
