Beautiful Decay — Description

Beautiful Decay
When I’ve finally drawn my final breath.
When the colour has drained from my skin.
As I lay there, in my final rest.
I hope my remnants, will be appreciated.
I hope that the insects, may rejoice in their feast.
I hope the plants around me, grow vibrant and strong.
I hope to become a kaleidoscope of colour.
As the fungus and mold, flower from me.
I hope to nurture the forest, for many years to come.
As I submit,
to beautiful, decay.
