Description The pair of shrunken students stood near each other on the hardwood floor. They were very good friends so it wasn't a surprise that when one of the two had almost squashed by Yang during one of her games, the other stayed within close proximity. The survivor had lost his legs, flattened under the weight of Yang. While under any normal circumstances had the two been not shrunk they would have rushed him to the nearest hospital to get the limbs amputated. However it wasn't, and they were stuck there. The friend didn't want to abandon his companion so he sat near his comrade until he would bleed out, talking and keeping him company.

At first, there was panic from Devin, the half squished man bug. He didn't want to die and his legs immobilized him, securing is fate. If it weren't for the fact that he was bleeding he would have thought that an unfortunate crush would be his last moment. James was able to calm him down eventually. He struggled to remain optimistic, however, the situation was grim for the both of them.

"Hey, we are bound to die anyway. Do you honestly want to live the life of a dust mite? At least you didn't die to that blonde haired bimbo." James wasn't that great at his wording. It was hard making death a viable thing, even if the alternative was a shrunk life.

"Uh huh, and I assume you are going to commit suicide after me too? Don't try to sugarcoat this, I am already having to face enough of a mess." Devin wasn't convinced that it was the best way out, but at least he had a level head again. His first words were incomprehensible screams of agony and fright, so it was definitely a lot of progress that he got as far as he did.

"Listen, I am bound to die anyway. You know I can't work the nerve to kill myself. At least you get to say goodbye. The others died either shouting protests or screaming. You aren't going to die alone." James wasn't done trying to cheer his compadre up. In his mind, he never thought he would ever have to say a thing like that. Especially to a friend. He hated the situation and couldn't bear to think of life without Devin from that point on.

"And I am supposed to be happy about that?"

"Hell, I might just end it after you die. We survived this far working together. We've seen how much lone wanderers have gotten. Might as well end my own life near you."

"Oh, how sweet of you!" Devin's sarcasm and satire were very prevalent. "Now I can die happy!"

"Hey, at least I am trying to comfort you! I could have just-" James paused and looked upward, his movement ceasing.

"Just what? What were you going to say? Huh?" He looked at James in anger for a moment after he spoke, but in the silence, he heard it too. His ears perked up as he began to listen to the percussive booms from off in the distance.

James looked back at his partner with sad eyes. He knew exactly what that noise was. Everyone in the room knew it at that point.

"Too light for blondie. Must be the white one." Devin tried to guess who was approaching. They had survived so long he and James had learned to recognize the giant by the sound their feet produced off in the distance as they walked.

"No, the white one is heavier. Maybe the cat or the red one." James shook his head. He got up to stretch his limbs. The booming was getting louder, so it was without a doubt that it was coming. "It is soft too, so they must be barefoot."

"Aye. Maybe it is the red one. The cat moves faster." Devin grunted as he pulled his chest to an upward position. "I guess the blondie would be the last dodge I would make."

"White is mine. I didn't have to move much when blondie came upon us. She thought she hit quota with you."

Devin looked at his friend curiously. "You aren't going to leave?"

"I'm done running. No use living the life of a dust mite, eh?"

"I'm glad. I guess this is it. Goodbye, James." Devin nodded, looking down in defeat. He looked back up James with a weak smile on his face. They both had been defeated, which they knew.

"Goodbye Devin, my friend." James looked back at him with a warm smile. Neither protested the loss. In the beginning, they may have cussed and tried everything to take cover, but now they both wanted to rest from the constant game of cat and mouse they had been forced to play.

Ruby came around the corner after opening the door to her room. She had her boots in her hands along with her socks. Throwing them in the laundry bin, she went to her bed, walking around the post to get on it. James and Devin were both in her path. As she got closer and her foot loomed over them, James and Devin embraced the flesh, letting it flatten them. Both went in peace.

They weren't the only ones who had encountered her on her way to relaxation. Another pair of unfortunate students had run from her. One had stumbled, tripping as he sprinted full force. He didn't hit the ground at first though, as her toes came around him and trapped his legs. He then slammed into the ground with the pads of her foot. He hadn't died, as he was under the arch of her toes and thus didn't take the weight of Ruby, however, it wasn't exactly a fun experience. The other wasn't as fortunate, he turned last second and put his arms out, wanting to stop the sole. He was almost instantly squashed. She continued her walk, unknowing of the boy she had just captured in her stride and the other she had killed. As she picked up her foot, both came with it, only to be slammed back down. The process would continue until she got to bed. The survivor didn't see James or Devin and they didn't see him. He got his moment to relax as Ruby laid there. He hadn't been crushed, nor had he been left alone. He was stuck there, napping with the girl. He had an easy time falling unconscious next to the three corpses stuck to the pale foot of the sixteen-year-old.

WOW! It has been a while! I threw this together quickly to produce something. I had recently gotten SFM and with finals my time had been taken up. Before someone asks (likely not, I'm not popular), I don't have any SFM works for the macrophile genre. That will be for more projects I want in different areas. I am still doing MMD and will continue to produce more works.

This was just an experimentation of a side view of a stride. I am trying different poses and positioning of the camera still and this was a product of one. I need to work a little more with the face cam. There isn't much going on so it distracts from the rest of the picture.

Also, I have yet to use any stages. You can easily tell I used the line tool in paint to draw a wood floor. I just am not sure of which stage to use. There aren't a lot of stages set from the RWBY. I think I will stick with white for now. It lets the imagination wander and isn't restricting on the camera.
