Bittersweet — Description
Current.
I was at the school's Leaver's Service on Wednesday. There were sunflowers on the window, and that - and the bittersweet feeling - lingered, and later transformed into this painting.
I was sad because I was one of the leavers, and I cried a bit here and there, then a lot more when the Year 6's were leaving, before finally bursting into tears for real saying goodbye to the Headteacher. (And no, I'm not a schoolgirl - I'm a teaching assistant! ) But I was happy at the same time because I got all those amazing presents and homemade cards and I know I'll be remembered.

Anyway, technique: watercolour and gouache on A4 watercolour paper.
