The same I think: "life sucks where I live, until the day I leave."
Although for me Jark, is that the place where I live, which sucks, will be abandoned by me, and the a the new place I will be at will be great!!! Actually, I am passing through that particular situation. I am changing weather, and I will be really happy. I will fell free!! No parents always at your back, no people asking for favours, no people asking for a saviour, I am tired of that. Maybe more responsabilities will I have, but don't mind.
