Be My Penguin — Description
There are certain species of penguin that, when the females accept a male, they mate for life. For example, the full moon ceremony, an Adeli penguin tradition, requires that all bachelor penguins present a choice pebble to their love interest. If she accepts, they are mates for life.

There is no pebble in this picture... but perhaps these two are not Adeli penguins.

This is a concept first taught to me by my lovely Jess, who told me how some penguins mate for life. I claim no ownership of the concept or that cute little quote, just the art and characters.

We've been best friends for three years, and officially in love for ten months. I love him dearly.
It sounds corny, I know, but... he's my everything.
