I can see why you would see Twi and Sunset being the moms to Pinkie, but I think those two would also be like older sisters of Pinkie. Like, the older, older sisters. Trying to deal with the silliness of the younger ones, but still loves them dearly. Kinda like the "brother's/sister's keeper" mindset.
