Description
This is an art study deriving its influence from Ernest & Celestine and Anatole. They both use a lot of simple shapes and more mellow colors. Both use watercolor, but here I substituted by filling cells digitally, and making sure it didn't look too refined.The edges of the cells were left broken and open in following E&C, while also following a similar body structure for the characters. These were melded with a more caricatured look, emphasized by body structure and clothing.

The lineart itself was drawn by hand, using a STAETDLER 0.05 pigment liner. Photographed, then uploaded for editing in GIMP.
