Inspired by equine artwork I guess...
Very old work on horse(about one or two years ago), but I've never successed to do a landscape to scene it.
So it's why the technique is a bit different between the horse and the background.

Wow, this is gorgeous. The horse looks very proud and elegant dancing under the moon. I actually like the contrast between the horse and the background, really makes the horse "pop" whilst the background still has interest.

I must precise that the photo indication on the right are due from the reference photo wich has been registered within the photoshop file, but all the image is hand made.

Il est carrément sublime Lotus! Tu as beau l'avoir fait il y a quelques années il n'en reste pas moins superbement bien réalisé avec une technique que j'admire énormément...
Le fond est tout aussi sublime, on ressent une atmosphère mystérieuse et ce clair-obscure est un jeu de lumière que tu as su maitriser à la perfection (je suis trop jalouse car ça fait un bon moment que je cherche à faire un clair-obscure mais j'ai abandonné momentanément toute tentative car c'est vraiment très dur donc je te tire mon chapeau!)

Pour tout te dire je n'avais même pas réalisé que c'était un clair-obscur avant que tu me le dise, je ne l'ai pas fait dans cette idée du moins ... Donc re-merci ^^

I just love everything about this picture, you did such an excellent job. Amazing color scheme, correct anatomy, beautiful details and the background matches horse perfectly. You have made wonderful job on the shadows and lights,it looks really neat and gives a feeling of mystery to this artwork together with the misty background
