Latestcraze -- you were wanting to see an inverted sunset... well here it is... lol not exactly as cool/sweet as I saw in my head, but nonetheless, we've figured out that it doesn't exactly work -- not as beautifully as true colour anyway... :) (Smile)

lol. It's alright to be lazy. Well, it's alright to be lazy if you don't become an idiot because of it. And you most definitely are not an idiot, lol.

lol. I never swear at people I don't know. Actually, I don't talk at all to people I don't know. I can barely force 'excuse me, please' out of my mouth. I don't know how to handle new people, lol.

It's actually caused me a great deal of bad experiences. It takes me at least a good year or two before I start feeling comfortable enough to start talking to anybody in more than an awkward and cursory manner. Unfortunately, by that time, I've made an ass out of myself a million times and basically alienated myself from everybody with my silence so that nobody wants to talk to me anyway. It's one of my greatest faults.

Hey, I've an idea: let's have Share Time. What's one of your worst faults? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, it's just something to talk about, lol.

My worst faults... I'm too trusting of people, that's one of them... I've picked up 3 male hitchhikers once while I was driving alone, that's how trusting I am... and I have a hard time saying "no" to people... that's a biggie right there... I get walked on a lot because of that. Especially by people with no conscience. I have an addiction to junk food... I bite my nails, belch a lot and fart at an unreasonable rate... I'm chicken shit when it comes to conflict -- I can't handle conflict very well, simply because I'm a lover, not a fighter. I feel worse than anyone should feel if I do something dumb like step on somebody's toes by accident... I'm hard on myself too -- almost too hard. I'm lazy too... lol I'm such a lazy bugger it's not even funny. I can't hold a healthy routine for a long time, and I procrastinate. I do as little as possible while at work too lol...

Why not start a new paragraph for organization's sake?

I can be -very- stubborn. I'm just glad I have good morals though -- I told myself when I was little that I wouldn't have sex before marriage... and because I was very stubborn, most guys who asked me for sex didn't get any... of course I'm not married yet, and I've lost my virginity, but instead of losing it at 14 like some girls do these days, I lost mine about 4 months ago -- when I was almost 19... of course that's not me sticking to my morals, but that's me -trying- to stick to my morals, at least. Plus, it's saved me from being branded a slut or a whore, and I'm -not- a walking STD like some people in this small town of mine. Stubbornness can be good... but sometimes it can be very very bad.

Thats another thing -- I tend to go on about things without realizing that I'm going on about them... either that, or I don't realize that I'm sharing things that don't necessarily need to be shared. I'm an over-informative person sometimes... you know when someone says something like "i didn't need to know that", the person on the other end of that conversation is usually me... For example, I might tell someone that I need to poop... they'll say "I didn't need to know that"................ "I'm feelin' kinda horny today"...."I didn't need to know that"............. "I'm going to have a good wank then I'm off to bed, night night"... "I didn't need to know that"........"It's gross, my dad used to like to walk around in his underwear during the morning and make my lunch for me while he was half naked... that's why i was a toothpick in grade 9" "I did NOT need to know that!!!!!" lol see what I mean? Well, I've never -been- a toothpick, but I can't say I wasn't disturbed by the fact that when my dad used to make my lunches, he used to do it very very very half nakedly.

Honestly? I think that's good for now... you'll learn more about me as we talk, I'm sure. But for now, I have to study for an exam I've got tomorrow morning... Gotta leave room for that great wank I'll be having before bed :p (Lick) haha jk

I agree. Social circles are...well, let's put it this way: every time I have to be late for class because a group of imbeciles decides it's alright to get in everyone's way, I tend to get a bit, uh, annoyed. More than once I've just shoved the people out of the way and cut through the middle of it. It's fun because they yell at me. :P (Lick)

Oh. Well, they certainly aren't metal, lol. (SOAD, I mean)

On reading: YOU SHOULD BE SORRY! Kidding, of course. It does seem a bit strange to me that a fine art student should abstain from reading, though. Even poetry?

lol nice, they yell at you when you push through them?! lol the ones here just give you dirty looks... I've sworn at nobody in particular before, while trying to get through the hallways... stuff like "Move your FUCKIN feet!!!!!" or "WHY is this going so damn SLOW?!?!?" just things like that. That's one thing about highschool that I'll always hate, yet never forget.

On reading: no, I don't read anything at all... I know it's probably not the greatest thing in the world... but yeah, I don't even read poetry... I write my own poetry though, through the lyrics in my songs... that's how i get heard... it's fun that way... I know I could probably find some very intriguing stories/poems to read, but I'm just lazy :D (Big Grin)

Most I could find. Do I get a gold star, Teacher? lol.

I don't listen to metal, so, question: what does SOAD stand for? lol.

I should be going to college this year, but I screwed up...long story, lol. What are you going for?

The poor rat! I remember when my hamster died, I was traumatized, lol. Came home and took him out of his cage...then screamed and threw him across the room, lol. Rigor mortis is damn freaky for a twelve year old, lol.

Your father=EVIL. How could he do that? *punches him*

Remember, you used to be one of those grade nines...don't be too hard on 'em. :P (Lick)

...I shouldn't talk. In grade nine I freaked out at all the grade eights running around 'cos they took up too much room and wouldn't stop shouting, lol. I was only one year older than them too, lol.

On pot: tried it, don't like it. I wanted a base of experience so I could argue more effectively (yes, I am THAT much of a geek).

And last but not least...*yells at you for not reading books* lol.

lol Well I'm really impressed that you could find something on us... lol Three gold stars for you!!!

SOAD stands for System Of A Down...

In college i'm going to be taking fine art (surprise surprise)

LOL awwww... poor 12 year old... That must've been really scary.... my rat died at the vets though, so I didn't have to see him...

My dad IS evil... he is the spawn of satan.

I did used to be one of those grade nines, but I never clogged up the hallways... I went about my own business and soon got the hint (perhaps sooner than the rest) that it's not cool to stand in social circles anymore.

last but not least: I'M SORRY I DON'T LIKE TO READ! :P (Lick)

Well, I'm an animal lover, and I enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset...lol.

Yeah. Ummm. I'm obsessed with the Celts (seriously. My goal in life is to create an authentic Celtic settlement in the middle of nowhere in Britain or Wales, lol), and the written word. Ever seen "The Day After Tomorrow"? I agree with the librarian. It's our greatest achievement.

I'm addicted to Harry Potter (laugh if you must), and I am currently finishing up the yardstick against which all other fantasy books are measured, The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien was a brilliant man. Either that or an ordinary man with a brilliant idea, I'm not sure which yet. Yes, I do tend to ramble, lol.

I argue about anything I can get my mind around, especially concerning psychology and culture, and people get sick of me awful quick 'cos all I do is debate things, lol. Oh, and I forgot: FAERIES ARE AMAZING. lol.

And yourself? :P (Lick)

Hmmm... what is there to say about me? well I do like conversationalists such as yourself -- you are the kind that makes things interesting. I like to see what other people have to say, although I'm not much of a conformist and I won't change my views or beliefs to suit the people I'm associating with. I'm also an animal lover, but my dad won't let me have any animals in our house... blah... I used to have a rat, but he passed because of pneumonia... How am I supposed to know the signs of pneumonia in rats!?! I also had a cat, but dad gave him away without letting me know... well, he wasn't -going- to let me know anyway, but I eavesdropped on the phone when he was talkin' to the lady that wanted to take him... so he, with his excellent manipulative skill, convinced me that it was a good thing for my cat to go somewhere else... blah. We also used to have a dog, but we put him down after 17 years... he had a good life... but yeah, after all that, dad says "no more pets"... blah. When I get older I think I'll be one of those crazy cat ladies... ohhhhh yeah.
I love art, and music... I play bass and sing lead vocals in a band called Seven Story Outrage -- good luck finding us on the internet though... I've tried all the search engines and I can't even find our site, so if you find it, good job. I'm 19 now... um... I hate boozing and pot and cigarettes and drugs in general, I guess... anything that's illegal, I tend to have a hatred towards. I also hate loud obnoxious grade 9's. Especially this one girl that sits behind me in this particular class that I'm in right now... Yes, I'm a 5th year, but I'm in a different class -- computer art -- and the grade 9's have a visual arts class in the same classroom... fucking irritating as hell. I like the new SOAD cd, and the new Mudvayne is pretty cool -- my favourites on that one are #3 and #5... I'm graduating this year, and going off to college come September. I've got an apartment all lined up, and my boyfriend and another girl will be living with me... it's a kickass apartment... anyway, class is over -- I'll tell you more about me later.
PS -- I don't read books!!! lol i'd rather read what people on here have to say :D (Big Grin)

lmao. Amen to that.

I found this book the other day (alright, a month ago, lol) that's an amalgomation of all the ways you can fuck up a common expression in German. You know how you see in movies sometimes where some idiot goes to a country not knowing the language, thinking he can just use common expressions from a book, but then he uses the wrong word or pronounces it wrong or something, ends up saying something incredibly dumb...basically like that. If only I had had some money, lol. I could have been able to say "who is the monkey" or something while looking for a bathroom...

DistressedDoveDistressedDove [2005-05-11 19:33:17 +0000 UTC]

lol. Me too. For instance, though this doesn't really count, did you know that the word 'gift' turns into the word 'poison' in German. Basically, if you're at a birthday party, and you're talking to someone in German, and you don't remember the word for gift, so you just say 'gift', ..."I wish I could get a poison like that!" lol.

I am such a geek.

LOL sweet!!! I know some germans too!!!!

I'll have to use that one... haha... priceless....

Here's another:

I was on a missionary trip to Bolivia, and one of the translators came up to me one day and asked me "how are you?" and I said "I'm just peachy" and he looked at me funny, with half a grin on his face, and he's like "....what?" and I was like "PEACHY -- it means good, content, happy..." and he just laughed and walked away....

Later on that day I found out that "peachy" sounds like the spanish word for "penis" so basically it was, "How are you?" "I'm just penis, you?".... yeah... You should never use your own slang in other countries lol...

Thankies, hope you find something in there that doesn't suck too much. :D (Big Grin)
