Inside Out redesign Animation — Description
SO I wanted to do a quick animation that captured a small redesign with the three "female" emotions from Inside Out.

Joy:
Joy's blue hair and blue eyes were such a distraction from her personality. It was basically a steal from Sadness's color scheme, and since they're supposed to be opposite emotions, it just felt too weird for them to be sharing the same hair and eye color.
Joy's hair was an odd short mess anyway, it didn't feel like it fit her personality.
So I changed her eye color to yellow, made her chin a little more pointy, and made her hair light up like a sparkler to match her glow effect! If she doubts herself, her sparklers die down and are at a danger at fizzing out, but if she's at the peak of her happiness, her sparkler hair might just emit golden fireworks! Now that would have been something!

Disgust:
Disgust was a little too "beautiful" to be a role of disgust. Disgust takes many forms depending on the person's tastes, so I thought it would be interesting if Disgust suffered a bit with her own looks. If she got more judgmental and disgusted, her hair would curl up into odd knots and tweaks. She would always have to readjust herself in order to go back to the way she wanted to look. Her face was also too rounded like the other female emotions, and disgust isn't a simplistic pretty thing, so I made her face more jagged. Her eyelashes were a nice touch though, so I left those alone.

Sadness:
Sadness was okay. I liked her form, sadness reminds me of a plump heavy ball, so her shape was perfect unlike the other girls'. Her cute sweater to hide in was a nice touch too. She seemed pretty perfect until I looked at the hair. Her bangs go off at a weird angle, and honestly whenever I'm sad or upset, I want to hide in my long hair. So whenever sadness reaches a peak in her emotion, tear drops ooze out of her head and make her hair get wet and sag down, so her hair can grow out almost like a wet mop that can reach to the floor that she can hide in.

Anger and Fear I felt had perfect forms.

But these three ladies needed some work. They seemed too simple to me.
I mean Anger catches on fire, Fear has cartoon eyes and a funny curl for exaggeration, but what do the others have?
Joy : glows. Disgust: long eyelashes. Sadness: ?
They needed some work.

Also they got out of character in the movie quite a bit.
They should have stuck with their emotions, but they were too humanized to accurately portray themselves.
Joy shouldn't had cried, she should have laughed until she cried tears of joy remembering the fun times she and Riley had. Joy would have stayed positive, and would not have given up. They definitely could have found a better way to go about that. They could have had Bing Bong cry instead and have Joy try and cheer him up from what she learned from Sadness.

While it was interesting to see the manifestation of the emotion of joy break down herself, I'm pretty sure they could have written a better plot climax.
